Corrections Policy
Even careful work contains mistakes. This page explains how we find, fix, and disclose errors on Calcxo so you always know what changed and why.

How to report an error
If a result, formula, definition, or example looks wrong, email corrections@calcxo.com. Include the page URL, the inputs you used, the result you saw, and the result you expected (with a source if you have one).
We read every report. Reproducible issues are usually acknowledged within two business days.
Severity and response time
Critical — wrong calculation logic or a formula that misleads users. Fixed as soon as it is verified, typically the same day.
Major — outdated assumption, stale data source, or confusing explanation that may lead to a wrong decision. Fixed within a week.
Minor — typos, unclear wording, broken links, small accessibility issues. Bundled into the next routine review.
How fixes are disclosed
Every page shows a "Last updated" date. When a meaningful correction is made — anything that could change a user's decision — we update that date and add a short note describing what changed.
Cosmetic edits (typos, layout tweaks) refresh the date but do not require a note.
What we will not silently change
We will not retroactively edit a formula, default assumption, or published example without a visible correction note. If a tool's behaviour changes in a way that affects past results, the page says so.
